As a Courier, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle to efficiently pick up and deliver supplies, equipment, mail, and reports to designated locations following assigned schedules or requests from your supervisor.Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver supplies, equipment, mail, and reports as required.
- Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe transportation of valuable, perishable, and confidential materials.
- Collect signatures and maintain accurate records of pickups, deliveries, driving time, labor time, mileage, vehicle maintenance, and fuel purchases as directed.
- Respond promptly to emergency requests for unscheduled pickups and deliveries, coordinating with your supervisor to manage schedule conflicts and adjust priorities.
- Adhere to infection control protocols, safety regulations, and traffic laws.
- Report any complaints, observations, or issues to your supervisor in a timely manner.
Work is primarily conducted in a transportation vehicle or office setting. The role requires the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and entails prolonged periods of sitting and driving. You will be accountable for fulfilling all job-related obligations and adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
