Change.org is actively seeking a Communications Manager to spearhead our initiatives in Turkey. You will report directly to the Associate Director of Communications. As an integral member of our Communications Team, your main responsibilities will include spotting, nurturing, and amplifying impactful citizen-driven campaigns through press, social media, and email outreach throughout Turkey.

In a time of increasing global discontent with democratic processes, we are investing heavily in AI to develop the most advanced tools that empower individuals and unite people across the political spectrum to find common ground solutions.
Our core petitions platform, utilized by over 100 million individuals each year, is undergoing rapid growth and transformation. We are in the process of rebuilding it from the ground up with cutting-edge tools designed to transform anyone into a formidable civic leader on issues they are passionate about. We are preparing to launch a new platform aimed at identifying over 80% of issues that resonate with a majority, both locally and nationally, to mobilize millions to advocate for these shared solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify, support, and lead significant people-driven campaign moments, achieving extensive reach and amplification across both social and traditional media, centering on our inspiring petition initiators.
Enhance awareness of Change.org and its campaigns among key stakeholders, including media and decision-makers.
Develop and maintain robust relationships with influential journalists, decision-makers, and partners to boost both immediate campaign reach and long-term platform visibility.
Oversee Corporate Communications in Turkey to roll out global strategies across owned and earned media. Collaborate with other functional leads to refine a cohesive global brand strategy, contributing to departmental objectives and culture.
