This program is tailored for recent graduates with less than two years of industry experience, offering an exceptional opportunity to enhance professional skills and gain exposure to our specialized services. The aim is to equip you with the knowledge and experience needed to thrive as a consultant by the conclusion of the program, which spans approximately two years.
As a Cost Management Analyst, your role will involve assisting in the delivery of premier cost management services for a diverse range of capital projects. You will engage in areas such as capital planning, cost estimating, procurement, contract administration, change management, and reporting, all aimed at helping clients maximize their investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Estimation & Validation:
- Assist in developing detailed project estimates, covering construction costs, fees, direct work, and related expenses.
- Collaborate with vendors to assess, validate, and challenge cost inputs.
- Leverage benchmark data from past projects to enhance estimate accuracy.
Capital Planning Support:
- Guide clients on capital planning strategies for extensive portfolios.
- Provide insights to enhance investment decisions and long-term financial strategies.
Procurement Strategy & Vendor Management:
- Support procurement processes, including vendor prequalification, bid evaluations, and bid leveling.
- Conduct bid interviews and present final vendor selection recommendations.
- Manage the appointment process aligned with client goals.
Cost Reporting & Forecasting:
- Establish and maintain cost reporting schedules.
- Deliver cost reports and forecasts to clients, ensuring clarity and precision.
- Maintain a commercial risk register and facilitate regular review meetings with project teams and vendors.
Cost Control & Change Management:
- Evaluate payment applications and recommend contractor entitlements.
- Review change order requests, providing actionable feedback.
