This critical role involves effectively managing the financial aspects of projects, from budgeting to forecasting and cost control. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and various stakeholders to provide precise cost estimates and maintain financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
The selected candidate will work onsite in Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive project cost estimates and budgets in alignment with project specifications.
- Possess experience in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure sectors, with a strong foundation in accounting for large-scale projects.
- Assist the Project Control Engineer in coordinating with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure adherence to project accounting and cost control protocols.
- Monitor project business practices to meet cost objectives effectively.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of project business practices, calculation methods, software, standards, and procedures.
- Oversee all project invoices and cost reports, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Analyze project costs and manage expenditures to comply with established budgets.
- Generate periodic cost reports and perform variance analyses.
- Work with project teams to identify and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Review and validate contractor and subcontractor invoices for accuracy.
- Assist in developing project bid proposals and negotiating contracts.
- Provide financial data for project forecasting and performance assessments.
