To further this mission, we are looking for a Corporate Security Manager based in Mexico City. This pivotal role will oversee the implementation of Security Programs across Mesoamerica, ensuring optimal support for our Crop Protection (CP), Seeds (SE), and ADAMA businesses through effective program solutions and establishing clear risk ownership among the leadership teams of Mesoamerican countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Anti-Illicit Trade program management for Mesoamerica with a focus on:
- Ensuring effective internal and external communication, awareness, and collaboration.
- Enhancing end-to-end Anti-Illicit Trade processes.
- Utilizing intelligence to maximize impact by seizing illicit products.
- Coordinating effectively with local businesses, legal entities, and authorities (customs, police) on Anti-Illicit Trade matters to achieve successful outcomes.
- Manage People and Site Security programs with a focus on:
- Anticipating threats, disseminating intelligence, managing risks, and developing security improvement plans.
- Promoting a culture of sustainable security awareness to protect Syngenta employees.
- Empowering the business to take ownership of site security improvements.
- Oversee the Security Crisis Management program by:
- Collaborating with the Corporate Security Global Security Crisis Centre to address emerging issues.
- Conducting crisis tabletop exercises for relevant country crisis teams.
- Supporting crisis response during evolving situations and assisting with post-crisis recovery efforts.
- Deliver security programs that align with risk targets, ensuring accountability among stakeholders regarding their security risks, with a strong emphasis on Mexico.
- Demonstrate determined leadership in daily execution, fostering trust within teams and among customers by fulfilling Anti-Illicit Trade commitments and maintaining accountability in security service delivery.
- Maintain high ethical standards and transparency in delivering impactful cases.
