International Health and Medical Services is on the lookout for a qualified Contracts Coordinator who will play a pivotal role in streamlining healthcare service operations. The selected candidate will oversee a range of administrative duties, coordinate appointments, and ensure robust communication among healthcare staff. This position is essential for maintaining organized records, guaranteeing timely access to medical care, and enhancing the overall healthcare delivery process within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Contracts Specialist, responsible for acquisition planning, cost and price analysis for designated actions, contract negotiation, execution, and production management activities.
- Review, analyze, coordinate, and determine production management functions from pre-award survey to hardware delivery and contract closeout.
- Establish negotiation objectives and conduct negotiations for contracts related to hardware or services across various subsystems.
- Prepare price and cost analyses in line with current command regulations and policies.
- Implement contracting principles, laws, regulations, and procedures applicable to both pre-award and post-award actions to procure and administer contracts.
- Prepare solicitations and evaluate the resulting proposals.
- Formulate and document a negotiation stance based on price and/or cost analysis.
- Conduct contract administration activities, including handling change orders, modifications, quality issue resolutions, and terminations.
- Maintain and document contract files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and customers through written and verbal communication.
