As a Contractor Performance and Governance Specialist, you will lead the comprehensive contractor management framework, ensuring that all projects and operational contracts meet the required scope, quality, cost, compliance, and governance standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Fostering a culture of safety through effective operational systems and processes that empower employees and contracting partners to operate in a risk-controlled environment, ensuring adherence to Safety & Health principles.
- Driving the implementation of the Contractor Management Process across specified sites, ensuring compliance with timelines, standards, and governance requirements.
- Ensuring optimal use of the Contractor Management System, maintaining data integrity and accuracy for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Monitoring contractor performance metrics such as headcount, compliance, and risk indicators, and championing improvement initiatives to close performance gaps.
- Verifying contractor scopes from both engineering and commercial perspectives to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the tendering, execution, and close-out phases.
- Maintaining the contractor assurance framework, conducting compliance audits, and ensuring adherence to all legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
- Overseeing and tracking expenditures against approved budgets, escalating any out-of-budget requests in accordance with governance protocols.
- Compiling and analyzing contractor performance data (cost, schedule adherence, quality outcomes) and generating accurate reports for informed decision-making.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders, including Commercial, Supply Chain, SHE, and People & Organisation teams to align contractor performance with business objectives.
- Facilitating the contractor feedback process, ensuring effective mechanisms are in place to address suggestions, complaints, and recommendations.
- Identifying opportunities for scope consolidation to ensure alignment with Delegation of Authority (DOA) requirements, optimizing efficiency.
- Providing guidance on the development of the Scope of Work (SoW), ensuring the integration of risk assessments, SHE and Social Performance requirements, and KPIs before submission.
- Championing a purpose-driven, high-performing culture aligned with company values, promoting diversity, engagement, and continuous improvement in work processes.
- Ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory, legislative, and permitting requirements.
