About the job
- Baseline Activity (Reference Establishment)
Creation of the Initial Baseline:
- This baseline represents the initial state of all configurable elements, including specifications, plans, hardware components, software, technical documents, etc.
Modification Management:
- Modifications can be proposed at any time and may concern any project element, such as design changes, software updates, or component changes.
Comparison with the Initial Baseline:
- At each stage of the baselining process, modifications are compared to the initial baseline to assess their impact and compliance with project specifications and requirements.
Updating the Baseline:
- When a modification is approved and validated, it is integrated into the next baseline to create a new reference, allowing the baseline to evolve continuously throughout the project.
Traceability and Consistency:
- The baseline serves as the reference for tracking modifications applied to components, ensuring traceability—meaning the ability to follow the history of changes over time—and ensuring consistency across different parts of the project.
Verification and Audit:
- Configuration management, including baseline creation, undergoes periodic verifications and audits to ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and project requirements.
Change Management Activity
Identification of Change Requests:
- The process begins with identifying a change request, which may come from the software development team, users experiencing issues with their vehicle, or from a regulatory compliance audit.
Evaluation of Change Requests:
- Once identified, requests are evaluated based on various criteria: relevance, impact on the affected components and systems, and the criticality of associated risks. This initial analysis determines if the request is valid and can be submitted for approval.
Creation of Change Proposals:
- If deemed relevant, a technical solution proposal is developed, including detailed information about the nature of the modification, its purpose, affected configurable parameters, and associated risks.
Review and Approval:
- The change proposal is reviewed and evaluated by relevant stakeholders...
