This influential event brings together over 25,000 attendees and 1,000 exhibitors, featuring more than 600 sessions each year. In this vital role, you will be responsible for crafting and delivering innovative content that drives industry advancements. You'll work alongside healthcare innovators and technology leaders, utilizing your exceptional organizational abilities, communication skills, and financial insight to make a profound impact on the future of healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development and Management
- Oversee Keynote and Executive Summit speaker management, ensuring precision in all programming details.
- Collaborate with the Director of Health IT Content and contributors to deliver CE-eligible clinical and non-clinical content.
- Manage volunteer groups and coordinate content fulfillment across educational programming.
- Design immersive programming that aligns with conference goals, including curated meet-ups.
- Execute content sponsorship deliverables effectively.
- Support new programming initiatives, introducing fresh topics and expanding event offerings.
- Utilize project management skills to oversee multiple complex projects, ensuring timely completion.
- Engage with speakers at all levels to maintain program quality and coherence.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Facilitate the application and vetting process for Executive Level programming.
- Contribute to strategic planning for the Content and Programming Department.
Administrative Duties:
- Process invoices for Keynote and Executive Summit speakers and volunteers.
- Maintain budgets for the Content and Programming team.
- Work with the HIMSS Operations Team to create content signage assets.
- Plan and execute events for the content and programming team.
- Assist with special projects assigned by the VP of Content and Programming.
- Manage onsite activities during the conference.
- Travel to in-person events as required.
