About the job
At Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, we are dedicated to empowering youth from underserved communities to realize their full potential through transformative, multi-year overnight camp experiences. Our programs not only focus on skill development in areas such as social engagement, emotional intelligence, leadership, and innovation but also foster a sense of volunteerism and a passion for lifelong learning. Our ultimate goal is to prepare these young individuals for successful transitions into adulthood.
We are proud to be catalysts for positive change, assisting our youth participants and staff in their personal and professional growth. By equipping young people with essential skills, we open doors to future opportunities, shaping them into leaders who contribute to stronger communities.
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking two dynamic and experienced Communications Managers to spearhead integrated internal and external communications strategies that ensure our key stakeholders remain informed, aligned, and engaged. Reporting directly to the Director of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement, these roles are responsible for managing various portfolios, projects, and initiatives across multiple communication channels.
These positions emphasize execution and project management, rather than direct people management. Each Communications Manager will take the lead on communications initiatives from inception to execution, creating high-quality content tailored to our audience.
Collaborating closely with one another and with cross-functional teams, the two Managers will jointly oversee the organization’s communications portfolio, ensuring a cohesive voice, quality, and adherence to our standards. At the heart of this work lies a simple yet impactful goal: to increase access for more young people to meaningful experiences that foster confidence, belonging, and lifelong opportunities.
Work Location:
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, based at the Foundation’s Home Office in St. George, Ontario, requiring a minimum of three days per week in-office attendance. Some local travel may be involved.
Employment Type: We have two contract positions available within the Communications team to fill current vacancies. Each contract is approximately one year, with the first commencing in March 2026 and the second in May 2026. The salary range for these roles is between $60,000 to $70,000 per annum.
