Join Avery Dennison as the Manager of Commercial Finance and FP&A within our IDS division, where you will be instrumental in delivering analytical support to our financial processes, enhancing business value, and managing associated risks.
In this strategic role, you will collaborate closely with commercial and senior leadership teams to ensure organizational objectives are achieved. You'll spearhead the strategic planning, annual operating plan, and forecasting processes, while also leading ad-hoc business projects linked to value modeling and margin analysis.
This position offers an exceptional opportunity for a high-potential candidate to engage directly with sales and senior leadership. Key responsibilities include:
Planning & Budgeting: Oversee sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency. Manage SG&A budget setting and forecasting while taking ownership of overall P&L, FCF, and EVA.
Profitability and Margin Management: Conduct comprehensive analysis of Gross Margin and Operating Margin across all product lines and customer segments, delivering insights and tools to enhance profitability, particularly in complex business areas.
Sales Compensation and Incentive Design: Partner with HR and commercial leaders to create, model, and assess the financial impact of sales incentive plans. Ensure compensation structures are fiscally responsible and aligned with the company’s financial objectives.
Reporting & Technology: Ensure the accuracy and timely distribution of sales reports, while facilitating the implementation of enabling technologies such as Power BI and/or Oracle OAC.
Compliance: Maintain adherence to internal policies and controls in accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
