Impact:
As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will collaborate with our infrastructure and deployment teams to automate, scale, and test Swoop Technologies’ products across various environments, including secure, air-gapped, on-premises, remote, bare metal, and cloud setups. Your work will be integral to our GitLab CI/CD infrastructure, focusing on optimizing AWS resources, refining Terraform scripts, and enhancing our cloud security posture.
What You’ll Do:
Implement automation for monitoring cloud resource health and usage.
Collaborate with security engineers to ensure compliance with NIST and STIG standards for cloud applications.
Automate cloud resource provisioning through Terraform and Ansible.
Streamline deployment processes for developers to efficiently run and test code in cloud environments.
Facilitate optimal cloud scaling mechanisms to balance performance and resource utilization.
Support code and resource updates for client installations.
Collaborate with client engineers to monitor and enhance cloud solutions.
