About the job
Embark on a rewarding journey where you can work with both heart and mind for children and adolescents. You arrive at the treatment location of RIOzorg and kick off your day with a cup of coffee. Following this, you'll meet with a young client for diagnostic evaluation. You will then manage another case file focused on a complex treatment plan for a 7-year-old child. Later, you will connect with a university regarding an ongoing (practice-oriented) research project that you find intriguing for RIOzorg. In the afternoon, you will participate in a multidisciplinary meeting with your colleagues, including a GZ psychologist, a PIOG, generalist educational psychologists, and other psychologists. Your expertise as a clinical psychologist (/advisor) / lead practitioner is invaluable in addressing the presented challenges concerning clients. You will conclude your day with a professional group meeting (including a child and youth psychiatrist, pediatrician, and lead practitioner), where you will collaboratively draft a vision paper on complex treatments at RIOzorg, which will be presented to the management.
As a Clinical Psychologist (/Advisor) / Lead Practitioner at RIOzorg, you will focus on both basic and specialized outpatient mental health services for children and adolescents aged 4 to 18 years. We assess and treat them for signs indicating developmental disorders such as ADHD or autism, anxiety or mood disorders, systemic issues, or trauma. You will work closely with other lead practitioners (GZ psychologists and generalist educational psychologists), psychologists, educational psychologists, systemic therapists, and ambulatory supervisors (depending on the region). Thanks to your expertise and advice, children and adolescents can move forward in their lives.
The clinical psychologist (/advisor) / lead practitioner reports directly to the management of RIOzorg. Within the Care Quality / Responsible Care group, you will have an advisory and coordinating role. In this capacity, you will also share responsibility for developing and making decisions regarding the treatment policies and care we provide.
The Care Quality / Responsible Care group is the 'heart' of our organization. This group is dedicated to monitoring, improving, and safeguarding the quality of care within our organization. For example, we assess whether our care meets guidelines and standards, we initiate and oversee improvement projects regarding waiting time reduction, and we strive for continuous enhancement of our care practices.
