About the Role
The Clinical Educator (NP) plays a vital role in fostering clinical excellence and education for Nurse Practitioners and physicians utilizing the Hims & Hers platform. This position emphasizes adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards, while also delivering focused coaching on platform workflows and clinical decision-making. By leveraging quality assurance (QA) and chart audit data, Clinical Educators ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care across both standard and moderately complex scenarios.
Working within a collaborative team of NPs and reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Clinical Education & Development, Clinical Educators enjoy opportunities for mentorship and partnership. They independently manage a diverse array of educational, coaching, and quality-enhancement responsibilities with minimal supervision, becoming trusted clinical resources for providers by offering real-time guidance and actionable insights based on QA metrics.
In addition to direct coaching, Clinical Educators proactively identify trends and potential risks related to patient safety and quality KPIs. They also seek opportunities to enhance provider training and streamline operational processes, including the automation of coaching interventions and standardization of provider guidance, to support Hims & Hers' growth. Close collaboration with Clinical Leadership, Training & Content teams, and other cross-functional partners is essential for refining educational programs, bolstering clinical quality, and enhancing the provider experience.
