About the job
About Us:
Cogent Biosciences is a pioneering biotechnology firm dedicated to creating innovative precision therapies for patients with unmet medical needs. Our flagship program, bezuclastinib, is engineered to selectively and effectively inhibit exon 17 mutations within the KIT receptor tyrosine kinase, including the KIT D816V mutation. This mutation is a key driver of Systemic Mastocytosis, a rare and serious condition, and is also present in patients suffering from gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), a cancer type heavily reliant on oncogenic KIT signaling. Promising initial data from our trials—APEX for AdvSM, SUMMIT for NonAdvSM, and PEAK for GIST—demonstrates an encouraging safety profile across over 600 patients, both in single-agent and combination dosing.

Key success factors for this role include collaboration, effective communication, strategic planning, relationship building, and the capability to execute tactical initiatives with timely feedback.
