Our flagship program, bezuclastinib, is engineered to effectively inhibit exon 17 mutations within the KIT receptor tyrosine kinase, specifically targeting the KIT D816V mutation. This mutation is a significant contributor to Systemic Mastocytosis, a rare and severe condition. Additionally, exon 17 mutations are prevalent among patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST), a cancer type reliant on oncogenic KIT signaling. Bezuclastinib has shown promising initial results in three clinical trials: APEX for Advanced Systemic Mastocytosis (AdvSM), SUMMIT for Non-Advanced Systemic Mastocytosis (NonAdvSM), and PEAK for GIST, demonstrating a favorable safety profile across over 600 patients in both single-agent and combination therapies.
Position Overview: As a Clinical Account Manager (CAM), you will play a pivotal role within our Customer Engagement Team, with the exciting prospect of launching Bezuclastinib across multiple indications and disease states. The CAM will be tasked with achieving sales objectives, optimizing available resources, and customizing strategies to fulfill client needs through a thorough understanding of their requirements. Success in this role hinges on collaboration, effective communication, strategic planning, relationship cultivation, and the ability to execute tactical initiatives while providing timely feedback. The CAM will report directly to the Regional Business Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships within territory accounts, engaging with physicians, allied healthcare professionals (e.g., Advanced Practitioners, Nurses, Pharmacists), and business stakeholders (e.g., Office Practice Managers, Billers).
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the territory, including Opinion Leaders (OL), treatment trends, payer dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Analyze business performance by creating and implementing a comprehensive territory plan.
