Job Title: Client Service Associate
Reports To: The Client Service Associate will report to the Client Service Manager or equivalent leadership.
Job Overview:
The Client Service Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional office and mail services while upholding a professional image of the company. Responsibilities include managing the shipping and receiving of mail and packages, fulfilling requests for document printing, and maintaining inventory of office supplies. This position is dedicated to providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service to all clients and SPS employees.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver 5-star customer service to all employees through various forms of communication.
- Receive inbound mail and packages, utilizing a handheld scanner to capture package information in the tracking system, and relocate items from the loading dock to the mail center or designated internal recipient.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols in handling all received items.
- Process outgoing mail and packages using postage meters and shipping software.
- Respond to email inquiries regarding incoming items, assist site staff via phone calls, and greet clients visiting the mail center.
- Perform light cleaning duties, maintaining the mail center and mail stations in an orderly manner.
- Cross-train in various areas of mailroom operations.
- Occasionally drive a company vehicle as needed.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
- Preferred: 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience with pallet jacks, pull carts/dollies, and handheld scanners is preferred.
- Willingness to work assigned hours determined by the manager, including occasional overtime on short notice.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service capabilities with a hospitality mindset.
- Proficiency in computer-based systems required for the role, especially Microsoft Office.
