ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
At ABM, we are actively seeking dedicated and dependable individuals to join our cleaning team in Cobham. Your role will ensure the venue remains clean, tidy, and well-maintained, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will also excel in providing exceptional customer service and collaborating with the existing team on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a cleaning operative with ABM, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning services to client facilities, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Cleaning floors through various methods such as dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Sanitizing lifts and ensuring cleanliness of lift doors and interiors, including mirrors and floors.
- Thoroughly cleaning toilets and sanitary fixtures, ensuring hygienic conditions.
- Emptying bins and managing waste collection efficiently.
- Conducting litter picking in outdoor areas, including car parks.
- Maintaining cleaning equipment and ensuring supplies are adequately stocked.
- Supporting team supervisors to guarantee optimal service delivery to clients.
- Performing additional reasonable duties as required.
- Participating in training sessions as directed by supervisors or line managers.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will possess the following essential skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Capability to independently identify and prioritize tasks.
- Able to work both independently and within a team.
- Maintain an approachable and courteous demeanor.
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years of cleaning experience in indoor and outdoor settings.
- Fluency in English.
- Flexibility regarding shift patterns.
