Join the KPFF team in our Lacey, Washington office as a Civil Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, and execution of site development and municipal infrastructure projects. This position is ideal for candidates with a passion for leading engineering projects that support public agencies and private developers throughout the region.
As a vital member of our collaborative design team, you will take charge of project schedules and budgets, engage with clients and consultants, and mentor engineers and designers through the project lifecycle.

In this role, you will oversee civil engineering projects from initial planning stages through to design and construction. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients, lead internal design teams, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Act as the principal contact for clients and project stakeholders.
- Lead project scope definition, scheduling, and budgeting initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality technical design and project deliverables.
- Supervise and mentor design engineers and drafters.
- Coordinate effectively with municipalities, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor project budgets and schedules to fulfill contract obligations.
- Assist with permitting and entitlement processes with local jurisdictions.
- Provide construction administration support, including managing RFIs and submittals.
- Participate in project meetings and conduct site visits as necessary.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while working on a computer, reviewing plans, or attending meetings.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 15 lbs.
- Field inspections may require walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.
