Key Responsibilities
You will be instrumental in the continuous development, publication, and dissemination of analyses, reports, and white papers that explore the impacts of digitalization, data, and technology on productivity, competitiveness, and the overarching European economy. Your contributions will not only stand independently but also act as a strategic foundation for Netcompany’s advisory services, solutions, and partnerships.
In this pivotal and highly visible position at Netcompany, you will work closely with senior leadership, directly reporting to Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, while engaging with top decision-makers within the organization and our clients. You will have the opportunity to influence Netcompany’s strategic direction and drive our analysis and digital transformation agenda, all within an environment characterized by expert insight, rapid decision-making, and substantial impact.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development of Netcompany’s analytical and knowledge agenda in digitalization, competitiveness, and growth.
- Preparing and publishing ongoing analyses, reports, and white papers with a distinct European perspective.
- Examining the economic effects of digitalization, including factors such as productivity, labor market dynamics, innovation, and public efficiency.
- Identifying key economic and structural trends relevant to Denmark and Europe’s competitive landscape.
- Translating complex analyses and data into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and strategic proposals.
Your Profile
We are looking for candidates who:
- Possess a relevant academic background, ideally a master’s degree in economics or a related field.
- Have considerable experience as an economist, chief economist, senior analyst, or in a similar role, preferably within the consulting sector, governmental organizations, or large enterprises.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of economics, public finance, and data-driven decision-making.
- Have experience in developing business cases, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and realizing profit, particularly in relation to digitalization.
- Can communicate complex economic and analytical challenges with clarity, precision, and persuasive effectiveness.
