About the Role
In the capacity of a Channel Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding Verkada's influence and outreach by cultivating and overseeing a network of high-performing reseller partners. Your primary focus will be on generating new business through the channel—building a robust sales pipeline and executing strategic plans that lead to quantifiable growth.
This individual contributor position demands both strategic insight and hands-on execution as you collaborate with sales, marketing, and partner teams to enhance Verkada’s presence in Northern California.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be integral to Verkada’s mission, partnering closely with our sales teams to foster growth and success with channel partners. You will oversee pipeline development and generate new business through reseller partners while implementing a top-tier channel strategy. Here’s what you will be responsible for:
- Drive Net New Pipeline: Proactively identify and generate pipeline with new end-user customers via strategic reseller partnerships. Collaborate closely with field sales teams to co-sell and close significant opportunities.
- Execute Regional Channel Strategy: Develop and manage a targeted partner business plan for your territory that aligns with Verkada’s overarching GTM objectives and quarterly sales goals.
- Empower Our Partners: Train and enable partner executives, sales teams, and technical stakeholders on Verkada’s comprehensive product portfolio, programs, and campaigns to ensure thorough engagement and capability at all levels.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Verkada’s internal sales, marketing, and pre-sales teams to drive joint initiatives, including partner events, demand generation campaigns, and customer-facing programs.
