Channel Development Manager, Bay Area
As a Channel Development Manager (CDM) at Rubrik, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and nurturing strategic partnerships with both regional and national channel partners throughout the Bay Area. In this dynamic position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Field Sales, Systems Engineering, Channel Marketing, Field Marketing, Alliances, and Sales Operations, to leverage resources that will help you achieve and surpass sales performance goals.
Your Daily Responsibilities:
As a CDM, you will spearhead the growth of channel business in your territory through meticulous partner planning, enablement initiatives, and driving sales acceleration alongside pipeline generation activities.
Key Areas to Make an Impact:
- Enhancing Rubrik's focus on our technologies and products to boost revenue and increase Partner Initiated Deals.
- Overseeing the management and expansion of Distribution and regional Channel partners to enhance market coverage and vertical sales/support.
- Facilitating account mappings and meetings with Rubrik personnel and partners to identify target accounts and opportunities, fostering Partner Initiated Deals and POCs.
- Conducting enablement sessions to train our partners’ field sales and SE teams, ensuring they achieve self-sufficiency.
- Establishing robust relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations to secure strategic partnerships.
Who You Are:
- A diligent, self-motivated individual with a strong team spirit.
- Possessing in-depth knowledge of the Data Management, Data Protection, and Storage market.
- Having established relationships and a stellar reputation with key partners in your assigned territory.
- Confident in presenting to larger audiences and hosting events for partners and end-customers.
- Able to identify, initiate, and close deals with partners in close collaboration with Rubrik Account Teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with local regional channel partners or distributors.
- Proficient in planning sales activities on a quarterly and yearly basis.
- Adept at implementing marketing plans and coordinating marketing activities.
- Skilled in identifying, developing, and acquiring new partners.
