Join our vibrant team at All Care Therapies, where we are currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide exceptional care in our dynamic outpatient clinic located in Katy, TX. We are looking for a dedicated clinician passionate about delivering compassionate therapy to our pediatric clients, collaborating with families, and contributing to a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement therapeutic and self-care activities to enhance client function under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
- Monitor client activities, ensuring correct performance while providing encouragement and feedback for improvement.
- Participate in supervision meetings with OTR, collaborating on progress reports and updates.
- Document client sessions in the SOAP note format using point-of-service documentation.
- Instruct clients and their caregivers in treatment techniques, under the guidance of the Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrate exercises that aid clients in improving daily task performance and achieving their goals.
- Verify client information through interviews and reviewing medical history to confirm treatment purposes.
- Follow and contribute to the plan of care developed by the occupational therapist.
- Provide direct instruction in therapy techniques, including positioning, environmental adaptations, and strength training.
- Maintain occupational therapy records, documenting client progress for use by the occupational therapist.
- Facilitate revenue generation by documenting billing information for services provided.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by implementing and adhering to standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
- Maintain equipment functionality by following operating instructions, conducting troubleshooting, and managing supplies.
- Notify management of low supplies or equipment needs.
- Uphold professional standards and regulations to protect the occupational therapy practice.
