About the Role
Are you a customer-oriented individual who excels in a dynamic environment and is proficient in Mandarin, Japanese, German, and Spanish? We are currently looking for enthusiastic Japanese, Mandarin, and Spanish speakers to deliver exceptional service to our visitors and customers at Auckland Airport during our peak travel season!
This is a casual contract position with a rotational roster supporting our 24/7 operations, which may include shifts during evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Hourly Rate: $28.95
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure each visitor and customer leaves with a desire to return by providing timely and effective solutions.
- Maintain a safe environment by reporting lost items, adhering to security protocols, and assisting teams in ensuring safety within our facilities.
- Assist in the upkeep of terminal facilities, ensuring they are hygienic, clean, and safe for all users.
- Help alleviate travel stress for guests by creating a positive, reassuring experience.
- Support daily operations, especially during disruptions, ensuring guests have the information they need to make informed decisions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Preferred experience in frontline customer service roles.
- A strong customer service ethos with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Availability for shift work.
- A vibrant, outgoing personality with a commitment to customer-focused service.
- A valid driver’s license for shift attendance.
- Proficiency in Japanese, Mandarin, and Spanish is highly advantageous.
- Physical fitness to lift luggage over 20 kgs and stand for extended periods (7+ hours).
- Ability to utilize electronic resources such as tablets and mobile technology.
