Essel Environmental is on the lookout for a talented and experienced Carpenter Foreman to become an integral part of our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee carpentry projects and lead a dedicated crew of carpenters, ensuring all tasks are completed with efficiency, safety, and in strict adherence to project specifications. The Carpenter Foreman will be tasked with planning work schedules, managing resources, and upholding quality control throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in driving project success while nurturing a collaborative and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in executing journeyman-level rough and finish carpentry tasks.
- Review and interpret project plans and blueprints.
- Estimate materials, time, and equipment required for projects.
- Monitor production rates of self-performed work.
- Develop work schedules and assign crew responsibilities.
- Create and manage Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), ensuring crews are well-trained and operate safely.
- Maintain accurate records of project operations.
- Oversee inventory management and supply requests.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of work areas.
- Adopt a proactive approach to identify and address potential challenges.
- Engage with clients and contractors professionally.
- Ensure timely completion of carpentry tasks while adhering to company standards.
- Mentor, monitor, and provide discipline to team members.
- Coordinate safety training for crew members regarding equipment and tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
