About De Hoge Weide
For over 20 years, De Hoge Weide has been the workplace for over 24 staff members with mild intellectual disabilities. Some gain work experience in hospitality, while others have fixed positions for daytime activities or internships. Together, they form the heart of our restaurant and event space.
Since January 2026, The Colour Kitchen manages the commercial operations of Restaurant De Hoge Weide in Leidsche Rijn, with Reinaerde responsible for supporting the clients working in the restaurant. This collaboration aims to ensure excellent client support while creating a successful dining experience.
