Job Summary
We are looking for a warm-hearted and dedicated Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, making a meaningful impact in their lives while collaborating with a passionate team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Partner with cardiologists to create and implement effective treatment plans for patients with heart-related issues.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and modify treatment plans as required.
- Perform cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic evaluations.
- Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, preventive strategies, and medication adherence.
- Offer counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Possess knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines.
- Ensure accurate documentation of medical records to comply with OSHA and government regulations while adhering to site quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Analyze and organize the care for critically complex patients.
