Essential Qualifications for the Cardiac Sonographer
· Minimum of one (1) year of experience in performing cardiac diagnostic procedures and related responsibilities.
· Current ARDMS - RDCS certification is mandatory.
· Exemplary professionalism and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a diverse patient population.
· Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-direction and organizational skills under minimal supervision.
· Must successfully pass all required health assessments for hospital employment, including drug screening and background checks.
· Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
· Current ARDMS - RDCS certification is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
· Exhibit proficiency in utilizing medical diagnostic imaging equipment.
· Conduct a broad spectrum of Echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER setting.
· Communicate essential clinical information and findings accurately to the radiologist.
· Deliver exceptional patient care while fostering a positive rapport with client hospitals and staff.
· Employ systems such as PACS and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for data management.
· Conduct a broad spectrum of Echo imaging procedures, primarily in an ER setting.
· Communicate essential clinical information and findings accurately to the radiologist.
· Deliver exceptional patient care while fostering a positive rapport with client hospitals and staff.

Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift 50–100 lbs., including patients, portable equipment, and positioning aids.
