Having secured $26.5 million in Series A funding from esteemed investors, we are poised for accelerated growth and are in search of a Business Development Representative (BDR) to play a pivotal role in steering our next growth phase and reshaping the future of banking in Canada.
Your Role
Drive lead generation and foster new business opportunities through impactful outbound outreach.
Assess potential leads to ensure alignment with Venn's offerings.
Research and identify target companies to enhance our outbound prospect list continuously.
Innovate and refine outbound processes, tools, and messaging.
Collaborate closely with Account Executives and the broader sales team to optimize the outbound BDR strategy, directly influencing the sales approach.
Help establish the benchmark for what excellence looks like for future BDRs at Venn.
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year in a BDR, SDR, or software sales role, preferably within a fast-paced startup environment.
Proven track record of consistently exceeding both personal and professional objectives.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey business challenges into a compelling value proposition.
A customer-centric mindset, coupled with genuine curiosity about the businesses we serve and their challenges.
A passion for continuous learning, always striving to enhance your expertise and stay updated on industry trends.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, demonstrating adaptability, resilience, and enthusiasm.
