About the job
About TORTUS
At TORTUS, we understand that healthcare professionals are dedicated to their patients but often find themselves burdened by outdated systems and excessive paperwork. Our mission is to empower clinicians by providing innovative solutions that streamline administrative tasks and enhance patient care.
We have developed an AI-driven clinical co-pilot that intelligently assists healthcare providers by transforming tedious documentation into an effortless background task. This revolutionary technology allows clinicians to focus more on what truly matters – their patients.
As the leading enterprise solution for the NHS, we are already making significant strides in collaboration with various NHS trusts. Our journey is just beginning, and we need a talented Business Development Manager to help us spread the word about our transformative solutions.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to engage with warm leads from hospitals and convert them into successful pilots, rollouts, and long-term partnerships.
In this pivotal role, you will be the primary contact for NHS trusts, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), and prominent private healthcare organizations, transforming semi-qualified leads into signed agreements while championing our commitment to improving healthcare through technology.
Your responsibilities will include generating qualified opportunities through proactive outreach as well as following up on marketing leads (MQLs). This is a key position in our rapidly growing team, and you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare services.
About You
You are a driven, resilient sales expert with a successful history of turning interest into contractual agreements within the healthcare domain. You thrive in dynamic, founder-driven environments and have a knack for navigating the intricacies of NHS processes to finalize deals.
You excel at converting warm interest into tangible pilots and contracts. You can effectively assess a semi-qualified lead’s needs and systematically guide them through the discovery, proposal, and procurement stages to secure the deal.
You are solution-focused, undeterred by NHS bureaucracy, and genuinely believe that successful agreements can be achieved.
You are a strong relationship builder, adept at collaborating with CCIOs, finance directors, procurement teams, and clinical leaders with ease.
You are comfortable working in an environment where adaptability and resourcefulness are key.
