Join Us as a Business Development Lead – Payments & Fintech
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Business Development Lead – Payments & Fintech to spearhead the strategic adoption of the Solana network within the U.S. financial technology sector. This role will involve engaging in large-scale, complex partnerships with prominent financial institutions, payment organizations, and enterprise financial platforms. You will help these entities understand and integrate Solana's innovative infrastructure to facilitate faster, more cost-effective, and efficient payment solutions and fintech applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the Solana Foundation’s business development strategy and initiatives across the payments, fintech, and enterprise finance sectors.
- Identify and pursue significant partnership opportunities with financial institutions and fintech companies.
- Establish and nurture senior-level relationships with business, product, and innovation teams.
- Develop frameworks for partnerships, pilot programs, and joint ventures that showcase Solana’s capabilities at scale.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Foundation (product, engineering, growth, marketing) to ensure successful implementation.
- Represent the Solana Foundation in high-level discussions, conferences, and partner engagements.
- Stay abreast of market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments shaping the future of payments and digital finance.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of extensive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales within the payments, fintech, or banking infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of structuring and managing enterprise-level relationships.
- Ability to navigate multi-stakeholder organizations effectively.
- Strong aptitude for aligning strategic priorities between established industry players and emerging technologies.
