Role Overview
The Business Data Analyst will take charge of managing and organizing Spines' internal data, creating clear KPIs and dashboards, and providing actionable insights to our senior leadership team. Collaborating within the R&D department and other supporting teams, this position calls for a highly analytical and self-sufficient professional capable of transforming complex data into clear business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive analytical frameworks using BigQuery and Looker.
- Define, develop, and maintain company-wide KPIs and performance dashboards.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of large, complex datasets, delivering actionable insights to senior leaders.
- Create and standardize internal dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Guarantee data accuracy, consistency, and governance across the organization.
- Track business performance, identify anomalies, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate closely within the R&D team and with other departments.
- Serve as the sole data function, overseeing the entire analytical lifecycle.
- Foster a data-driven culture and advocate for analytical best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst in a dynamic product/SaaS environment.
- Proficient in SQL and BigQuery.
- Proven experience with Looker is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to create dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience with large-scale data warehouse environments.
- Excellent analytical skills, precision, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as a standalone function.
- Experience presenting insights and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
