Join our dynamic team as a Business Analyst at Louis Dreyfus Company, where you will play a pivotal role in implementing and enhancing the front-office applications for commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) across the Asia region. Your expertise in analyzing existing processes and identifying enhancement requirements will be integral to our success. You will document any gaps and current functionalities, collaborating with a global implementation team to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Ensure the implemented systems align with business needs, provide user training, and deliver support proactively and efficiently.
- Engage with the Regional Project Manager, Business Analysts, and Global IT teams as part of the Regional Project Team.
- Work closely with trading, execution, and finance operations to identify, develop, and implement best practices, driving core business processes to achieve transformation.
- Conduct training and communication, develop specifications, and create process maps and workflows.
Business Analysis
- Thoroughly document existing business processes.
- Perform gap analysis between current and future processes, identifying discrepancies in system functionalities, reporting, and controls.
- Facilitate workshops to pinpoint current and best practices.
- Conduct training workshops for key stakeholders and end users.
- Understand system functionalities and propose solutions for improvements.
Document requirements and functional specifications, working closely with Business, Regional and Global IT teams, and vendors to support developments.
Application Support
- Provide level I and II application support by recreating issues, testing scenarios, and managing both short-term and long-term resolutions.
- Track business incidents and requests in Service Now, ensuring timely resolution within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Prepare monthly reports on incidents and requests.
- Act as the first line of support during ongoing projects and post-implementation phases.
- Foster and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Oversee after-hours solution deployments to the production environment.
Project Management
- Assist the Project Manager in defining project scope, estimating resource needs, and setting timelines.
- Participate actively in project and business meetings, providing regular updates on progress and reporting any issues or risks.
