We are seeking a dynamic leader to spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of diverse facilities and construction projects across multiple departments and functional areas within the health system. This role involves providing direct leadership and management of the Buildings Project team, including onboarding, training, workload planning, assignment delegation, and performance evaluation. You will be tasked with ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while aligning with operational priorities, regulatory requirements, and organizational standards.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across various departments, campuses, and care settings.
- Supervise the Buildings Project staff, including hiring, onboarding, development, training, coaching, and conducting annual performance reviews.
- Assign and prioritize team workloads to align with organizational goals, project timelines, and resource availability.
- Ensure compliance with life-safety, infection prevention, ADA/accessibility, regulatory, and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to support space planning and allocation decisions, optimizing space utilization in alignment with clinical and business priorities.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, permits, meeting minutes, schedules, budgets, change orders, and closeout materials.
- Provide regular project monitoring and control reports to senior leadership, detailing scope, schedule, budget, risks, key decisions, and mitigation actions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned, standardizing processes, and enhancing team capabilities.
