About the Role:
As part of the Oscar Medical Group's Virtual Health Assessment (VHA) program, you will engage with Oscar Health Insurance members through virtual evaluations and management visits. Additionally, you will provide support across various teams within the organization, including Virtual Primary Care and Virtual Urgent Care, as needed.
You will report directly to the Director of Virtual Health Assessment.
Clinic Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8 AM - 8 PM EST
Friday & Saturday: 8 AM - 6 PM EST
- Minimum 15 hours per week required
Work Location: This is a fully remote position open to candidates residing in states including Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, or Virginia. Although you will primarily work from your home office, occasional travel may be necessary for team meetings and company events. #LI-Remote
Pay Transparency:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $60 to $70. This role is classified as a 1099, independent contractor position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct preventative care screenings, perform medication reconciliation, diagnose medical conditions, and provide health coaching, referrals, and treatment when clinically appropriate.
- Engage with members who are more chronically ill based on historical and suspected health information.
- Connect with members who have a lower likelihood of visiting their Primary Care Physician (PCP).
- Identify opportunities to enhance members' medical journeys by improving access to care with licensed providers.
- Cross-train in urgent care and/or virtual primary care service lines.
- Interact with members virtually, including conducting assessments, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Additional duties as required.
