As a Bilingual Credit Controller at Quadient, you will manage a designated segment of the Sales Ledgers, focusing on optimizing cash flow, reducing bad debts, and upholding exceptional customer service standards. Your role will also involve assisting fellow credit controllers with ledger oversight and addressing escalated issues. You will take the lead on complicated debts and oversee external processes, ensuring timely collection of amounts owed to Quadient Limited and Quadient Finance in accordance with locally agreed targets. You will play a crucial role in meeting all performance metrics (such as DSO, Ledger Percentage, BDP Percentage, and Team Cash) while adhering to all dunning cycles.
This position is remote.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively collect outstanding debts via phone and email.
- Track and manage the status of debt collections.
- Keep accurate and current records of queries.
- Maintain essential contact details within core business systems for resolution.
- Participate in meetings with sales and other departments to minimize customer disputes.
- Process credit holds on orders and liaise with sales/customers as required.
- Support the preparation of accounts for litigation when necessary.
- Perform other tasks as directed by Company Management.
- Mentor and support junior Credit Controllers as the primary point of contact.
- Handle all disputes and issues related to assigned ledgers.
- Act as the lead for customer escalation calls and liaise with external vendors (e.g., agencies).
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and training of processes and procedures.
- Assist with additional projects and ensure all procedures are well-documented and adhered to.
- Support other key areas within the business.
- Prepare reports and confidently communicate findings with key stakeholders.
