About First Steps for Kids

The Role (Available in both full-time and part-time schedules)
As a Behavior Technician at First Steps for Kids, you will experience the profound impact of making a difference in a child's life. In this position, you will:
- Teach meaningful skills to children diagnosed with autism, including communication, social skills, self-care, and readiness for school.
- Witness significant milestones such as a child's first words, their first friendships, and their first successful shoe-tying.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, BCBAs, and behavioral health/mental health specialists, enhancing your professional development.
- Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with all initial credentialing fees covered by First Steps, as part of our paid training program.
