About the job
Join our passionate team as a Behavior Technician at Centria Autism and make a significant impact in the lives of children with autism. In this rewarding role, you will engage directly with children, executing tailored behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Utilizing evidence-based practices, you will facilitate the development of essential skills such as communication, social interaction, and daily living activities, while also addressing challenging behaviors. We’re in search of candidates who are dedicated to empowering children with autism to achieve their fullest potential.
To thrive in this role, you should embody patience, compassion, and teamwork. Comprehensive training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills to succeed, even if you lack prior experience. Expect a dynamic work environment, as children may be unpredictable, and you should be physically prepared to engage actively — which might include standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
At the end of the day, you will leave knowing you’ve made a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. Join us at Centria Autism and become part of a committed team that is dedicated to transforming lives for the better. Apply today to embark on your journey as a Behavior Technician!
