Job Description: We are in search of an enthusiastic and detail-focused Automotive Parts Counterperson to enhance our team. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in automotive parts and a genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting both customers and technicians with their parts requirements, ensuring precise and prompt order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers and technicians in identifying and locating the correct parts.
- Efficiently process parts orders with high accuracy.
- Maintain a tidy and organized parts counter and storage area.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform the parts manager of any shortages.
- Address customer inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage returns and warranty claims as necessary.
- Keep up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in an automotive parts department, ideally with Mercedes-Benz.
- Strong understanding of automotive parts and systems, including familiarity with CDK and Paragon.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Proficient in parts catalog and inventory management software.
- Valid driver’s license.
