Our extensive portfolio includes urban regeneration projects like Liverpool Street Station, Cardiff Central Square, and Kings Quarter in Gloucester. For the public sector, we assist numerous Highways Authorities in Development Management and Local Plan preparation. We encourage our staff to broaden their knowledge and experience by working across different sectors.
AECOM provides a comprehensive array of services within the Built Environment, promoting collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to unlock significant value for our clients. Our deep expertise enables us to manage complex projects and deliver impactful outcomes. We are also leading the transport work for several Solar Energy Development Consent Orders (DCOs) in the UK, with many more in progress. We are looking for a driven individual to join our well-established Development Planning and Management Team in Birmingham as an Associate Director. Your primary focus will be to lead growth in the West Midlands private sector market, bringing in new projects that enhance connectivity, sustainability, and overall quality of life.
About You
We seek a client-focused Associate Director who can significantly contribute to driving growth in the West Midlands area. You will be part of a high-performing team of Development Planners with a stable workload. This role represents a significant investment in an individual capable of expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. Ideally, you will have a proven track record in business development and team management, taking the lead on project delivery, managing client and stakeholder relationships, coordinating teams, ensuring quality, and achieving outstanding results.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional, well-connected within the West Midlands development market, and eager to take a lead role in client engagement while managing dynamic teams focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.
