About the Role
iCapital Network is seeking a talented Software Developer in Test (SDET) to enhance our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with agile development practices and engineering best practices. In this hands-on role, you will work collaboratively with both the Development and Testing teams and leverage your managerial expertise to understand, refine, and implement existing automation test frameworks. Additionally, you will partner closely with engineers and product managers to facilitate feature-based testing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive automated test suites.
- Integrate automated test suites into existing build and deployment processes.
- Update and maintain automated tests in alignment with changes in system design and architecture.
- Utilize tools such as JIRA to implement the automation framework.
- Create, manage, and utilize defect workflows alongside automated test execution.
- Design and publish relevant metrics to support automation test creation.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, API, automation, performance, and load testing.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in QA engineering.
- 4+ years of experience working within Agile SDLC teams, preferably in CI/CD environments.
- Strong programming skills in Java with a focus on behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) as well as design patterns, ideally within CI/CD.
- Experience with Java microservices, REST APIs, and familiarity with React front-end technologies.
- Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Maven, Sonar, Git, TeamCity/Jenkins, and Docker.
- Experience with AI integration is preferred.
- Background in banking or finance is a plus.
- Prior experience in testing ETL processes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools including JUnit, RestAssured, Playwright, Protractor, and JMeter.
Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $110,000 to $130,000. iCapital Network provides a competitive compensation package, including salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
