At Guidepost Montessori, Assistant Guides play a pivotal role in nurturing children aged 0–6, fostering their independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Your Role
As an Assistant Guide, you will support a dynamic Montessori classroom that serves mixed-age groups (Infant, Toddler, and Children’s House ages 3–6). Your mission will be to foster a calm and engaging atmosphere where children can explore, learn, and develop at their own pace.
In our Montessori setting, the environment and the guide work in harmony to support each child's developmental journey. You will assist in crafting intentional and beautiful learning spaces, guiding children through individualized and small-group activities—always with respect, patience, and care.
Above all, you will empower children to build self-confidence and explore their potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Observe and understand children’s individual needs to provide tailored support
- Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized classroom environment
- Facilitate individual and small-group learning activities
- Build warm and respectful relationships with children and their families
- Collaborate with Lead Guides and fellow team members to cultivate a strong classroom community
Qualifications We Seek
- Experience with children aged 3–6 in a school or childcare environment
- A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset
- A genuine passion for working with young children
- A desire to learn and grow within the Montessori framework (prior Montessori experience is a plus but not required)
