Key Responsibilities:
- Store Operations:
- Assist in daily management of store operations to ensure efficient processes.
- Participate in opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming environment.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
- Foster a customer-centric culture to enhance the shopping experience.
- Train staff on customer service best practices to promote positive interactions.
- Team Management:
- Support recruitment, training, and development of store employees.
- Assist in scheduling to meet business needs and ensure adequate staffing.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members to cultivate a positive work environment.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize shrinkage and optimize availability.
- Ensure products are displayed according to merchandising standards.
- Sales Support:
- Help achieve store sales goals and financial objectives.
- Monitor sales performance and suggest improvement strategies.
- Engage in promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Assist in training staff on workplace safety practices and emergency protocols.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards promptly.
- Administrative Duties:
- Assist the Store Manager with administrative tasks such as inventory counts and scheduling.
- Maintain reports on store performance, sales metrics, and customer feedback.
