As our new Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences that define every dining occasion at Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. Your leadership will foster a culture of guest satisfaction, team engagement, and outstanding operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
- Ensure adherence to outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Lead the Food & Beverage Outlet team, ensuring compliance with service standards.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Balance operational, administrative, and team needs effectively.
- Participate in regular departmental and divisional meetings.
- Maximize revenue by collaborating with Food and Beverage teams to implement strategies and promotions.
- Contribute to the achievement of Voice of the Guest initiatives and targets.
- Help set and achieve objectives for the Colleague Engagement Survey.
- Supervise and support employees to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure a first-class visual ambiance, cleanliness, and service flow.
- Assist in recruiting, training, managing, mentoring, and developing team members.
- Conduct effective performance management focusing on colleague development and training.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all outlet menus.
- Assist in departmental budget management.
- Follow vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
