Summary: As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that our sales objectives, cost management, employee retention, customer satisfaction, food quality, and sanitation standards are met consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Comprehend all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs to effectively manage the store in the General Manager's absence.
2. Ensure a welcoming environment for customers while fostering a responsive, courteous, and service-oriented team atmosphere.
3. Supervise food preparation and service to maintain brand standards related to quality and presentation.
4. Assist team members in completing opening, closing, and preparation tasks.
5. Engage in hands-on management by preparing food, serving customers, and coordinating deliveries.
6. Support company and store goals in sales, service, quality, and cleanliness through employee training and fostering a positive work environment.
7. Ensure proper cash handling and adherence to reconciliation procedures.
8. Fill in as needed to uphold customer service standards and efficient operations.
9. Assist with product management to confirm that deliveries meet brand standards for quantity and condition.
10. Identify labor or food costs and implement strategies to improve them.
11. Assist in labor scheduling based on anticipated business activity to ensure all positions are filled and labor objectives are met.
12. Stay informed about human resources policies.
13. Provide insights and suggestions to General and Regional Managers.
14. Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing industry-related publications.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
