Key Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager, you will:
1. Oversee food preparation, sale, and service to ensure exceptional quality.
2. Maintain high employee and company standards at all times.
3. Support the General Manager in all facets of restaurant operations, stepping in as acting GM when necessary.
4. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
5. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the establishment, including equipment, facilities, and exterior.
6. Monitor dough levels to ensure proper inventory management.
7. Manage the use of food and supplies in line with budgetary guidelines.
8. Responsible for the ordering, storage, and distribution of all supplies while minimizing waste and theft.
9. Conduct hiring, training, and orientation programs for staff, fostering a positive work environment.
10. Coordinate employee schedules to optimize personnel utilization and meet budget goals.
11. Assist in performance evaluations and personnel selection.
12. Drive local store marketing initiatives to enhance sales.
13. Prepare payroll, profit and loss statements, and assist with budget preparations.
14. Undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
