Join our team at Domino's Pizza as an Assistant Manager where you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store operates smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:
• Operating all kitchen equipment proficiently.
• Receiving and stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage and work zones, including the walk-in cooler.
• Preparing high-quality products while ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
• Managing incoming telephone orders accurately and efficiently.
• Conducting inventory checks and completing associated documentation.
• Maintaining cleanliness of equipment and facility on a daily basis.
• Delivering products to customers' doors and distributing promotional materials such as flyers and door hangers.
To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for delivery purposes.
• The ability to pass a background check and a flexible schedule for availability.
Training will be provided through an orientation program and on-the-job instruction.
Effective communication skills are essential, as you will need to understand and convey instructions clearly, as well as communicate with customers and team members regarding orders, both in person and over the phone.
Key Skills Required:
• Strong numerical skills to perform basic calculations quickly and accurately, including making correct monetary change.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication for processing orders.
• Excellent motor coordination to make precise movements while entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to manage cost controls effectively.
Navigational skills are also necessary to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including navigating various terrains and building types while carrying products.
Work Conditions:
• Exposure to varying weather conditions during outside tasks, along with in-store temperatures that can fluctuate.
• The workplace may include cramped quarters, heat from cooking tools, and sharp objects, so safety is paramount.
Most tasks will be performed while standing, with some walking involved to and from the delivery vehicle and customer locations.
