We are seeking a dynamic Asia HR Director to spearhead HR strategy, organizational transformation, and integration across the Asia Pacific region. This position will ensure that there is a robust alignment between global priorities and the specific needs of local markets.
The Asia HR Director will serve as a trusted Executive Business Partner to both regional and global leadership teams, shaping business strategy through effective workforce planning, organizational efficiency, leadership development, and cultural alignment throughout APAC.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive organizational transformation initiatives across APAC during shifts, restructurings, mergers, or rapid scaling phases.
- Develop and implement comprehensive change management and executive communication strategies to minimize business disruptions while promoting stakeholder engagement across diverse geographies.
- Lead HR integration and change initiatives, focusing on the harmonization of policies, compensation frameworks, leadership alignment, and cultural integration within newly acquired or evolving business units.
- Own and execute the APAC HR strategy in alignment with Averna’s global corporate objectives, while remaining agile to meet local market demands.
- Facilitate the onboarding of APAC operations to Averna's global processes, ensuring consistent adoption and compliance across the region.
- Identify high-potential talent and design succession planning and leadership coaching programs to cultivate a robust middle-management layer across the region.
- Analyze regional compensation trends and lead total rewards strategies to maintain Averna’s competitiveness across varying economies, from high-cost talent markets like Japan to emerging tech hubs in Vietnam and India.
- Champion HR digitization efforts, leveraging HRIS integration tools to enhance regional reporting and support data-driven decision-making, while overseeing the rollout of the new HRIS across APAC.
- Act as a liaison between APAC offices and Global Headquarters, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
- Collaborate closely with regional leadership, finance, IT, legal, and operations teams to facilitate business growth.
- Present HR metrics and strategic updates to management team committees.
