Purpose:
The Aseptic Manufacturing Technical Lead will report directly to the Director of Aseptic Manufacturing and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in aseptic processes within the global Network Aseptic Manufacturing team. This role is crucial for supporting troubleshooting efforts during significant aseptic events across the network by providing hands-on assessments and investigative support.
The Technical Lead will spearhead the drive for standardization by implementing and continuously updating aseptic best practices based on operational events and technological advancements. Collaboratively working with various sites, the Technical Lead will organize and execute improvement initiatives aimed at proactively identifying, quantifying, prioritizing, and mitigating aseptic risks.
This position also involves collaboration with site teams and the aseptic global team to develop and roll out training and mentoring programs focused on good aseptic processing practices for operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support and hands-on assessments during investigations of significant aseptic events within the network.
- Mentor, advise, and share best practices with network team members, site peers, and senior management.
- Contribute to the long-range strategy and planning for Aseptic Manufacturing, including the development of capital plans.
- Organize and execute improvement events at manufacturing sites to proactively identify, quantify, prioritize, and mitigate aseptic risks.
- Drive standardization efforts by implementing and updating aseptic best practices based on operational events and technological advancements.
- Participate in aseptic audits to compare procedures with actual practices, identifying risks and facilitating solutions.
- Monitor, report, and track site/network aseptic metrics to enhance aseptic performance.
