Role Overview
As the ASEAN Partner Lead - Go-To-Market Strategy, you will spearhead Mistral AI's strategic partnership initiatives throughout Southeast Asia. Operating from Singapore, your focus will be on cultivating revenue-generating alliances with hyperscalers, telecommunications companies, global system integrators, OEMs, and sovereign cloud operators. Your objective will be to effectively transform Mistral's open-weight models, AI Lab strategy, and sovereign AI vision into sustainable commercial frameworks and scalable partner-led go-to-market executions.
You will establish high-level relationships across the region, unlock marketing development funds (MDF) and funding programs, and coordinate partner-led sales efforts to facilitate Mistral's growth in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines. This role is critical, strategically positioned at the intersection of partnerships, go-to-market strategies, and revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Pipeline & Revenue Ownership
- Lead the generation of partner-sourced and partner-attached pipelines across ASEAN.
- Cultivate a predictable quarterly revenue stream influenced by partners through disciplined sales execution.
- Propel the commercial expansion of AI Labs, sovereign AI, GPUaaS, and enterprise deployments.
Executive Relationship Development
- Nurture and manage relationships with senior executives such as CROs, CIOs, CDOs, CEOs, Managing Directors, and Practice Leaders in hyperscalers, telcos, GSIs, and OEMs.
- Drive strategic collaborations that align partner priorities with Mistral's AI roadmap.
Go-To-Market Strategy & Multi-Year Frameworks
- Design multi-year go-to-market agreements, joint business plans, commercial frameworks, revenue-sharing models, and margin/discount structures.
- Establish memorandums of understanding (MOUs) and go-to-market strategies with top-tier partners such as AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud, Singtel/NCS, ST Engineering, Accenture, Deloitte, Nvidia, and Dell.
Partner-Led Sales Execution
- Facilitate partner-led and partner-attached deals through collaborative selling strategies, joint account planning, and field enablement initiatives.
- Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs), executive briefings, regional roadshows, and multi-partner customer showcases.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with product, science, partner engineering, legal, and field teams to effectively position Mistral solutions.
- Coordinate partner activation for AI Labs, AI Factories, sovereign AI programs, and enterprise deployments.
Market Expansion & Program Launches
- Broaden Mistral's partner footprint across multiple ASEAN markets with active engagement.
- Launch regional partner programs, certification pathways, and co-marketing initiatives to scale pipeline creation.
